0 gje Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 I'd have to agree with Iceman, baby Big Eye Trevally Cheers, Scoop
0 Jewhunter Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Bigeye for sure. Great fun on light gear & there are usually plenty of them up this way. I think I hold the Raider record for one on a lure. No banner yet though! Cheers, Grant.
0 Blackfish Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 I think you will find thats a Brassy Trevally (Caranx papuensis) Big Eye Note the bottom tailfin, Brassy's are Yellow. One more defining feature but I wont bore you with that.
0 Rafinx Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 (edited) Bigeye for sure. Great fun on light gear & there are usually plenty of them up this way. I think the jewfish record holder is more of an achievement lol, how big was the one you caught, I have tried looking. Edited February 18, 2011 by Rafinx

0 Woobwoob Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Looks like a small Tea leaf trevally, softer rear fins than a GT.
