Scobinichthys granulatus Yellowfin usually have about 4 spines on the tail wrist. Not as pronounced as a 6 spine. finin Posted June 25, 2011 Share Posted June 25, 2011 (edited) We call them Bread and butter jackets. Yes they are edible. They dont seem to grow very big. Fish books on the boat, so i cant give you its correct name. Blackfish might be on the ball though. The skin to me is the roughest of all the jackets i have come across.
