Sincere condolences to the family and friends or the fishermen. I went down to cronulla and saw the water smashing on the rocks, my mate an I decided we'll just go landbased which was safe, in times like this we should be more careful, don't risk your life for a fish.

Thanks david and baz, I don't mind tieing the knots, it just gets annoying after it gets snagged but they're the consiquences when rock fishing, thanks for the help guys, it is truely appreciated

Hello all, As some of you know i am fairly new to this relaxation sport and would really like some tips. I just bought a nice rod and reel but was wondering, what would be better for rock fishing... Braid or Mono, i'm not really into swivels, i just can't get them right. If i was to rock fish with no swivel, what would be better? Thanks all George

What a beauty, big marlin that size, i'm new to fishing but i know thats one hell of a catch and hoping in the future as i learn more, i will get me on of those babies. Great catch once again, big effort to hold it for over an hour. Well done.

Wow Mike you got guts, i was inside work and i was like what the flock, look at how dark it is and i looked on the 2nd side of the building and it was a great sunny day, i was like hmmmm this aint going to be good. Grats on the 2 jews though, better than nothing i say

Just make sure you don't eat them, they are pretty contaminated. Other than that, good luck
