REEF MAGIC CHARTERS
Hi all, Out today with the Bidwell boys and jigged some kings early then headed wide. One of our club boats was outside us and had picked up a 30kg fin on the troll then got a bluefin around 60kg. He then told us he was hooked up again so we headed out. On arrival they were still fighting and we hooked a good fish on the troll but pulled hooks. We started a trail and managed 2 albies. They boated their fish and said it was over 100kg... It pulled the scales at 130.4kg an awesome fish of a lifetime. Unfortunately we couldn't get anymore but another boat got pack attacked and hooked up 4 bluefin on the cube but unfortunately only boated 1 around 65kg. Anyway we are back out tomorrow. Bentstik
We headed out yesterday and scored a nice Dolly that went 12.5kg and then in the late arvo started a trail and had the SBT at the back of the boat and scored a nice one around the 60kg mark and lost another. . REEF MAGIC CHARTERS
Yes guys that is an amazing fish off Sydney & no better a guy to catch it on his boat than Ivan. A good mate of Mikes and a well deserved fish. It was funny to hear him when they pulled it aboard & talking to mike on the radio & say "it's the biggest f**king tuna I have ever seen" the excitement in his voice was priceless. He radioed us a soon as it was weighed as we were keen to see how big it was. Anyway things could get even better after this front comes through and they may even be closer in.. let's all keep our fingers crossed. If the weather improves we are keen to get out ASAP so if anyone is keen give me a call on 0407113349. Cheers Damo
