"CanwegofishingDad?", "CanwegofishingDad?" ... you get the picture :biggrin2:

Armed with some humble smelly servo prawns, took the kids down to a local haunt to see what they could find. The place has produced some very good fish in the past, but initially it was tough trying to get through the littlies. (not that the kids were complaining)

Then Taneka gives out a scream/whimper and is holding on for dear life as a very energetic fish puts an impressive bend in her Catana. A few scary moments while Dad nearly takes a tumble on the rocks :074: and her 62cm trophy is in the net. A new PB!

A short while later and Robbie has his hands full of mischief with another energetic fish. Another new PB for him at 54cm.

Guess who's being touted as Father of the Year again :biggrin2:

Hope everyone had a great day on the water.

Cheers

My son becomes a packet prawn addict when we get to Hawks Nest. I taught him how to rig up and now he almost leaves me alone when it comes to fishing down at the wharf.

While they (my 3 kids) have caught some legals from the wharf, they don't care what size the fish are, as long as they are biting....... that was until recently when he just had to come with me to Hat Head. But more on that later.
