danlarter
I think mainbar is the closet place you can legally pump nippers. And wanda beach has plenty of beach worms.

redpump
I see people pumping yabbies at Taren Point/San Souci beach (near the bridge), is it legal to pump here?
damos
I see people pumping yabbies at Taren Point/San Souci beach (near the bridge), is it legal to pump here? That's the spot I was going to suggest. I pump yabbies there all the time though they are usually a little smaller then port hacking ones. zook2001
It's legal to pump there if you don't mind some hard work as they tend to be small, take a seeve and go deep is your best bet.
redpump
Cool. I tried Port Hacking, but, I think the tide was too high because all I was getting was little soldier crabs, little worms and little yabbies.

Wait the low tide to collect yabbies so you do not need to get wet. Cheers, Andy
Leonidis
That's the spot I was going to suggest. I pump yabbies there all the time though they are usually a little smaller then port hacking ones. Hopefully they will get bigger soon as a few got caught exceeding more than tripple their bag limit.
innovative
Well done to the inspectors on catching them, 200 yabbies is more than enough for any angler let alone 600, Gee u get some greedy fishos out there. There probably trying to put them on the black market. Serves them right
innovative
Sorry I think its even 100 for the salt water variety, which is still more than enough
redpump
Holy Moley.... I thought the 30-40 yabbies we catch for fishing was heaps... 600??? seriously greedy... Also, how do you make sure the pregnant females are safely released back without seagulls swooping in to eat them. It has happened a lot so I put them in one of the holes I created and cover it with sand.
