After the water started to clear up in early March, I headed out with a mate in his tinny armed with some choice poddies collected the day before. We fished drop-offs from 2-5m on both run in and run out. Took home 8 fish between us and released the big girl who measured up at 84cm. Last Sunday, I headed out in my yak, again armed with only 5 poddies. Scored a couple of nice flatties on trolled hard bodies, then 2 more nice fish on the livies. Easter Sunday and I have a dozen or so poddies ready to rock and pick up a couple of nice fish but then the tailor burgle the next 6 poddies. Picked up two more, one on a poddy and one on a massive plastic that I trialed(looks like a 18cm poddy!) All fish caught in the middle of the tidal run over the three days.
