squidgie Posted July 4, 2005 Share Posted July 4, 2005 Hi all, Im looking for a rod to match a stradic 8000 for spinning off the rocks...can anyone suggest some stores in sydney that have a good range so I can have a look and feel. Mick Posted July 4, 2005 Share Posted July 4, 2005 (edited) A few years ago I grabbed a seconds blank out of a discount bin at the BA ($8), the whole rod cost me less than $20 to build and I have caught more fish on it then all the $300-$400 rods I own combined. squidgie Posted July 5, 2005 Author Share Posted July 5, 2005 Thanks guys....i may have to drive out west to check them out by the looks of it.Its a bit of a hike for me from my place, but hopefully will be worth it...Never been to ABA other than at the expo, so not sure what the store was like.
