fish311 Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 (edited) Hi raiders Last night is my 2nd trip for this year to WB around 6pm . On that time weather is good , but quite cold . using my Pflueger Trion rod 7ft , 1 piece and Daiwa Caldia reel 2506 with 6lb Berkley mainline & big pilchard as bait. From 6.40pm , within 20min , 8 bite , pulled the line very powerful is UNBELIEVABLE . Finally I hooked up 5 Monster Hairtail . My best friend hooked up 8 Monster Hairtail at the same time . This year the Monster Hairtail really difficult to get hooked . It's not bad for me , because my first trip for this year is get nothing . Happy fishing guys .... Have a lovely weekend Fish311 Edited June 9, 2012 by fish311

Formosan Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 Well done fish11, Some nice eating flesh there. What time did you leave? I may have seen you driving back. We were at WB last night too.
fish311 Posted June 9, 2012 Author Posted June 9, 2012 Hi buddy We go with boat to WB . If you looking for land based you can try at Illawong Bay before sunset 1hour or high tides . There have a lot people , you should go before sunset 2hours . Then you can get a better spot . Good Luck ... Fish311
