On that time weather is good , but quite cold . using my Pflueger Trion rod 7ft , 1 piece and Daiwa Caldia reel 2506 with 6lb Berkley mainline & big pilchard as bait. From 6.40pm , within 20min , 8 bite , pulled the line very powerful is UNBELIEVABLE . Finally I hooked up 5 Monster Hairtail . My best friend hooked up 8 Monster Hairtail at the same time . This year the Monster Hairtail really difficult to get hooked . It's not bad for me , because my first trip for this year is get nothing . Happy fishing guys .... You were coming back to Appletree bay right? Yes , buddy ... Last night we went there as well . just hooked 1 Monster 180cm , 2 medium 167cm , 1 small .
