Long reef to deewhy

Quick report. Out today from Roseville past the whales

up to longy. Fished in 50-60m mark. One pig

Fish. Moved to reef off deewhy. 3 mowies , couple

Flattys and few nannygai. Water awesome flat

But still cool ish at 17.8-18.2 degrees. Some bird

Action around deewhy but nothing on the troll.

Anyone else finding these areas slowish at the moment.

Lucky to see a few mowies.

Slightly wider about 75m had 19c and good haul of flathead to 54cm , small hooks / baits were getting whiting . If only the weather was like that everyday.

Yea water pretty good. Had a chronic chucker

On board and even he made it. Wow flattys that

Wide hey. Didn't think I'd get them too wide. Using

Bonnies and pilli for bait. Was hoping snapper

More mowies today but still seems slow.

i think i trolled past both you guys yesterday we headed wide water temp did'nt get past 19 c i also had one very sea sick mate on board went to 400 meters to some marlin marks didn't turn a reel but there were a few flying fish wide so all we need now is a hot currant cheers gary

We were out of Pittwater on saturday, went north and fished off Box Head in around 55m for a couple of keeper flatties and a banjo ray. We tried our usual favourite drift off Palm Beach and some broken ground wide of there but nothing. At one point we found a load of bait mid-water and then a bust up close by - but a huge pod of dolphins got there before we did. That was a pretty spectacular sight, we also saw some great whale breaches but overall the fishing was quiet. Great day to be out on the water though.
