DeanFish
Have found Club Marine to be reasonable. When you take out the premium you can save 5% paying online and you can save a little more opting out of the magazine subscription. I had a significant issue towing my boat when I first got it. The policy covered my for one free tow annually which was handy at the time. Edited June 17, 2013 by DeanFish
Benzeenees
To some extent it depends on who is insuring your car, your house etc. You usually get big discounts for multiple policies so start off by getting a quote from your current insurer. rockfisherman
Nrma was cheaper than club marine, not sure if its because other policies with them, maybe even check with your insurer who ever they may be. Fishingphase
locodave
GIO was cheaper than all of the above if you are after cheap. Just read the Terms etc to make sure you hare happy with them. Wonder if Coles will have insurance for boats soon, because that would be even cheaper!
Testlab
Depending on the size and type of boat, there is also QBE and Nautilus.
Catchin Jack
I found Club Marine to be good, check the fine print and PDS carefully before making your decisions, some don't cover what others do etc etc and you may get caught out.
THE SWEENEY
Hi guys, I have got two houses and three cars with nrma and when asked about the boat they were 100 dollars dearer than club marine,so much for loyalty, but it pays to shop around ,good luck .Cheers Laurie
GaryO
Im with GIO , from memory you need to put a value on the motor and the hull .. so if u set fire to your boat and the outboard remains intake you would need to find a replacement hull. Having an older boat I could see this as being a hassle should the worst happen
batfishing
I'm with Club Marine. Had a trailer boat with GIO, changed to Club Marine after a year, could not come to grips with having to value the trailer, hull and outboard separately.
