Pongrass18ft
Hi Raiders Filleting my catch from yesterday and found this moving around on my flathead fillet. It's around 3cm long and I'm thinking a worm but I have never seen one before in a fish. Would love to hear from anyone who has seen this before and knows what it is. Dfishin
barracuda often have worms in them and should not be eaten if they do. Ive never heard of flathead with worms but might be possible. I wouldnt eat it if you think it had worms. Dave

Pongrass18ft
Thanks Kingfisher84 and Dfishin thought it was a worm. Have never seen one in all the flattie fillets I have cleaned in the past, will be putting liquid combantrim in my live well from now on to clean them out before I take them home . Yowie
Chris, I find the occasional white worms in the flesh of small jewies I catch up river. Carefully pull them out and cook the fish properly, don't think they have affected me yet !!!
