NWHC
Hi all, I'm looking for a medium sized spinning reel for flicking off the beach I looked at a few > $200 reels but for a bit more the stradic / salina look much better value for money. Have not heard much about the salinas so looking for anyone who owns one also is anyone knows the weight of the 5000 can't seem to find it anywhere, the stradic on the other hand I have only heard good things I just don't like the colour . Thanks for any help towards making my decision. Cheers
chewie
Both reels are great. I have owned all the models of stradic up to rarenium and they are awesome. The Salina 3 I have for casting now in the 10000 size and is way better than my saltiist 6500. It's my go to reel for kings. Not much can get past it. Choose for weight and line class. Stradic so for finesse. Salinas for grunt.
NWHC
Thanks Chewie I'll need to find a salina to play with just concerned it might be a bit heavy.
tasksta
Cant comment on salina but LOVE my stradic 6000. Didn't understand the cult following at first but now i get it, worth every cent if you fish regularly. Edited December 5, 2013 by tasksta
