SMn Posted December 20, 2013 Share Posted December 20, 2013 Was a bit dusty this morning after a few shandys last night, original plan was to hit the stones, but the condition I was in and wind made it to sketchy. So I decided to leg it to the beach as I was already up. Very windy but I persisted anyway. Fished for a couple of hours, scored a nice fat flathead and an undersized bream. The flathead took a small salted pillie, while the bream went for a worm. Flathead went in the bag for lunch and the bream went back to grow bigger. Was worth getting up early for it. Just finished eating it with the kids, in a light batter shallow fried in olive oil and a had full of chips and salad. You know your on a winner when the kids ask for more.
