mrsswordfisherman
Oh yeah the circus is in town. A boat full of clowns attempting to catch hairtail is a very scary thought! I will have to get a special award for your crew mrsswordfisherman
Divey
Where would be the nearest/best/most secure place to launch my boat when coming from the Shire? Hoping to make it if I can persuade my crew to come. Will confirm one way or the other later. Sounds like a great event. Cheers Paikea Don't forget that there is a ramp at Akuna Bay which has plenty of parking. You're then only a very, very short distance to Cowan Creek and Jerusalem Bay. There is a $11.00 fee for entering the National Park which includes the parking.

Rodb73
Hi all, Fishing for Hairtail is the 1st for me, as is this comp and also fishing the hawskebury, which I am really looking forward to. Although, I'm not looking forward to the cold. Can anyone please offer advice as to how much and what type of baits I should bring for the 3 days and any other pointers you would think might improve my chances for a few productive days? Thanks and I look forward to meeting as many of you there as I can.
