Devil Ray Posted March 24, 2014 Share Posted March 24, 2014 G,day Raiders.... I have recently moved to Lake Macquarie and i will be competing in the Doylo RSL bream and flathead classic. I have never really targeted bream before let alone in Lake Macquarie... I have been hearing stories about chicken guts, skirt steak coated in parmesan cheese as great Bream baits. Are these people taking the piss or has any other raiders used these successfully? If anyone has any tips, locations, GPS marks , bait, lures, SP's that will help out it will be greatly appreciated Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Can't say I have ever tried it myself as I don't like getting my hands stinky (I usually stick to lures and plastics) but they work a treat from what I hear. Luc. randal Posted March 25, 2014 Share Posted March 25, 2014 mate i live in lake macquarie we get heaps of bream on mullet strips and we use floating baits ( no sinkers) in shallow water, the only time we use sinkers is in the channel or dropover its a big lake best of luck Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
