col35 Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 (edited) Hit the BB on Saturday to chase jewies during the day (long shot i know). Anchored up, using live squid and yakkas + butterflied Baits. The cuttlefish decided to take the live horse yakka, held on all the way to the net, as soon as we lifted it out of the water it decided to let go. "too late supreme bait" Look at the size of the beak!! Here is the full video from start to finish https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qmzh6Tcx6Uk&feature=youtu.be Edited May 18, 2014 by crazy col

Jew Stalker Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 That's a cracker. I have a soft spot for cuttles after watching one in the local aquarium for quite a while. They are fascinating creatures.

ALI-G Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 I snagged one a bit smaller the other week out at long reef, again it took a live yakka, let it go though as thought it was too mad looking to kill and eat! They weigh a lot for their size and seem to have way more ink thank squid. Are they good to eat??
col35 Posted May 19, 2014 Author Posted May 19, 2014 ive heard they are ok to eat ali but honesty i havent tried them we kept this one for bait
