Diamondfish?(Butter Fish and Bat Fish)

I was fairly certain they were both diamondfish but on closer inspection they look a little different. Any ideas?

Diamondfish also heard them called Mono's (Monodactylus argenteus) pretty common in Sydney but the Batfish, never seen one in Sydney before but anythings possible.

Certainly rare I would guess.

First one is, Second one has the right markings for a species of diamond, but the fins look odd too me.

The first too.

I call the second for a batfish too

But first one I always thought was a diamond fish

Thanks guys, this isn't in Sydney, currently visit brother in QLD and caught this one from Seventeen Seventy.

Have always called the first one a batfish, caught plenty in Port Hacking, usually more so after heavy rain when the water colours up a bit.

The second one is a species of batfish, usually caught further north of NSW.
