Fab1 Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 It's my RDO today and the weather gods have come out to ruin my plans I had to go fishing. The mrs always says that if I want it to rain, all I need to do is put my annual leave in or have a RDO. I'm starting to think she's right. Oh well maybe next time.
Belligero Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 As annoying as rain can be I rather fish in wet conditions then bright and sunny. I find the water more productive and the pressure is up to 1013 at the moment. Lot better then 1002 like the past few days.
night_rider Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 Get yourself a nice raincoat and just make sure you are out of the wind. As Shuan said, the wet weather can be very productive.. Of course be careful if you hit the stones, it can be vveerrryyyy slippery during the wet weather.!
bessell1955 Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 Wet weather also eliminates a lot of the sunburn.
Yowie Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Wet weather stops most other fishos and boat users from being out there.
Fab1 Posted January 29, 2015 Author Posted January 29, 2015 Yes I realise all the above ,but i wanted to take my 7yr old nephew and 6yr old niece out on the boat to spend time with them. Cause it was so miserable i took them to see a movie instead then a feed followed by shopping for a few toys. I'm the same, some of my best fish have come from inclement weather but I couldn't take the kids out in that. Cheers.
