brunny23
Headed out from the Hacking this morning started trolling 40 fathoms 25 degrees, heaps of bait in close and down deep. Trolled North East to the peak water cooled to 24 degrees and no sign of life. Turned south in 60 fathoms and came across a big marlin 100kgs plus sitting still on the surface but unable to get him interested. Headed back down South straight out from jibbon in 65 fathoms shotgun screams off stripe marlin going ballistic for 15mins or so then pulled hooks aahhh .... Anyway had a great day with a mate from work and he knows what it's like to fight a marlin know and has the bug!!! Plenty of stripe tuna schools about both marlin were in these schools. Good luck this weekend!
nbdshroom
Bad luck on the marlin but at least you guys found some action. Your mate must be itching to go out again.
Scent Blazer Lures
Bummer, it's hard to stick em sometimes. Still its bloody exciting anytime you hook a marlin even if you lose them,
