meg126
I was cruising in boat last week in same area - saw a very big shark fin, hung around in the hopes itd come back but didn't see it again - gotta say, it was enough to make me think twice about swimming around there. Bruce the Postie
I remember fishing Broken Bay one day with the family ,and we must have caught nearly a dozen of them and none of them much bigger than a hammer . You don't see that all the time !!

bessell1955
Is this area renowned for sharks? I have heard of bull sharks further up the Hawkesbury.

Ryder
I can remember in the eighties, Hammerheads schooling along Palm Beach and the inside beach. They had aerial pictures, the sharks could be seen everywhere in the shallows. At least 100 of them.
