scratchie_junior619
G'day raiders, It was 10:30 and we had to check out of our apartment so dad came up with a brilliant idea that we should fish in little rivers and creeks the whole way back to port Stephens! So we had a quick stop at the largest tackle shop in Australia and headed down Coast! Wasn't that tackle shop heaven! First stop was urunga which did not present any fish! The next stop was nambuka which also disappointed but the next spot definately didn't! We ended up in south west rocks where I chucked out a soft plastic on this random little pontoon that we found but got nothing! We then changed tactics and chucked in some unwaited bread on a normal rod and bang I was on to a nice 30cm bream! I then decided to chuck out my new fly that I just bought and on my secomd cast yes I was onto my first fish! It was the most fun I've had in ages! Finally landed my first fish and it was another good bream but this one only at 27cm still a lot of fun on a fly rod and so stoked to land my first fish! We ended up spending the rest of the day at that spot catching a lot of bream with various sizes ! Hope you enjoyed my post! Cheers scratchie_jnr
