Due to the power outage today across the Sutherland Shire the sewer treatment plant has shut down & has been pumping RAW SEWAGE straight into the bay !!! A power outage will not change the outlet! It's the overflow going straight into Botany Bay , Due to the pumps not running . When the pumps run it does pump it miles out to sea . A power outage will not change the outlet! The Cronulla Sewerage treatment works still pumps into Botany Bay, The on Sewerage Plant which pumps to the deep ocean outfalls is the one on North Head . And yes the power outage did cause the system to fail as their are no emergency generators at the Water Treatment Plant.
