yep that looks like it, a Red Bigeye or Bullseye. From the guide it seems to be a long way from its usual habitat "northern Australia tropical offshore waters".

I believe its a Spotted Bigeye but of course there probably other common names that have already been suggested.

... and it certainly has a big eye!
