bezz711 Posted February 16, 2016 Share Posted February 16, 2016 (edited) Decided to go for a reef session off Botany Bay recently and it paid off managed good feed of snapper and other reef species was fishing a patanoster rig in 80m of water using whole pilchards biggest snapper went 60 rest were in high 40s Had a live bait it got smoked and could not stop what ever was on the end got Reefed with 80pound leader!! bezz711 Posted February 17, 2016 Author Share Posted February 17, 2016 (edited) Mate I'm usually just sussing them out but best tip I have for you is fish reefs just as the sun comes up or on an overcast day for some reason my best snapper come out in these sort of conditions Also lite leaders nothing too heavy!
