NaClH2OK9
I was walking the dog at blacksmiths this morning. Watching the Comercial guys netting off the beach. LOTS of fish about atm. Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk
Scratchie
Yep, the mullet run has started! Good chance of jewfish off the beach over the next 5-6 weeks!

NaClH2OK9
My mistake Jeff it was boat harbour they were netting . One beach back. Took a drive down to see if salt ash was commutable for us then it was too nice not to hit nelsons and go round. Yowie
The sea mullet and sand mullet have thinned out in Port Hacking over the last week or 2, so they are on the move to sea.
New to Oz Fishing
Are mullet good eating fish? Any suggestions on bait? They wouldn't touch the prawns I was using on Sunday.
antonywardle
mullet are a strong tasting fish, very oily and very good for you. I like them. They are good for bait too Use bread. throwa heap of broken up bits in to the water, (best is the 85 cents no frills) and when they start attacking it, cast in to it and then they will suck up your hook (make it a small hook) Edited April 28, 2016 by antonywardle
