Geoff
I caught part of a documentary on TV the other day filmed in the US A fish finder that floats . It's about the size of a tennis ball Attach a line , throw it over the side & it transmits images to yr I pad or similar . The range is up to about 50 mt I did not hear the depth that it will work to or the cost Has anyone else seen or heard of this device Geoff

cameldownunder
Deeper Smart Fishfinder Don't have it. Have a cheaper one with that yellow boat style sounder.
Adsy91
I've seen a few of these before, theres the "deeper" one which has been mentioned but another has been released. It is called the "ibobber" and it literally looks just like a bobber float. They seem okay for accurate depth scanning in estuaries but the fish recognition is a little off. Here's a link to an unbiased reviewer. He is not sponsored so always says so if he doesn't like something he gets sent or buys.
