steven22512251
Just wondering if anybody on here uses parsley boat ramp for overnight parking on the Hawkesbury answer if it's any more secure the parking than mooney Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
Scratchie
IMO Parsley is a much better and secure option than mooney but I think it is still closed! You might want to check before planning a trip! Cheers scratchie!!!
jeffb5.8
I have used both with mates for over nighters when staying at Barr Point, We make sure We put the wheel clamp and Tow ball lock on. Sadly it won't stop them but may make them move onto the next trailer without any security devices. On my new boat and trailer I have all of the above plus Data Dots and stickers advertising the data dots are fitted.
antonywardle
Parsley Bay Boat Ramp is getting a makeover. The existing ramp will be removed and replaced with a new ramp that meets NSW Boating Ramp Facility Guidelines. The new ramp will still have 4 lanes, however these will be wider. A new pontoon will provide better access for boat passengers. Construction will commence 30 May 2016. The new ramp is scheduled to be complete in September 2016. Moonie Moonie ramp might be ok. There are a lot of people who overnight there, so it might put the odd thief off.
sam bros
Yeah parsley bay is still closed Might be better off launching at Apple tree bay Much more secure than mooney mooney, since it is a national park and they are also closed at night Takes a bit longer to get to haweksbury river but worth it for the security and peace of mind
