Guest Guest123456789
Hi raiders, Check out this creation I'm pretty happy with. 10 litre water can that will easily cover my safety requirements and I can refill my cup. Also gets weight where I want it.
cameldownunder
My guess is that not many people know about this safety requirement. Mine is proabably past expiry date, and is located so badly that I would access it only in emergencies.

Ric001
For $4-5 at discount stores it's cheap insurance against fines and if it goes out of date I just use it as a fresh water rinse for the bilge. Berleyguts
I freeze several soft drink bottles full of water. They go in my eski. I will always have water if needed.

Windswept
I bought a number of these ($2 inc shipping on aliexpress). They can hold up to 5 litres but I tend to fill them to about 3.5 litres each and they conform easily to existing storage spaces. This fulfils the safety requirement and it's great to know they are there for emergency. I'll take a separate water bottle or two on the day and those bags will only come out in an emergency. raging
I do what @Berleyguts does. A few empty coke bottles, filled with water, frozen & thrown into fishing keeper bag.
