Gone Fishing Day

Any one support it ? The local media up here ran nothing about it. A lot of people turned up this morning, a lot of good information, and the kids loved it. Good Family Time! Howard.

Mate there were a lot of people on the water fishing it was a great day to see familys also getting some fine fish .

Had planned too but it blew 50kmh of NE and the water turned a putrid brown colour down here. I headed out in the boat Friday night which after 5 hrs of getting knocked about in chop for one small snapper wasn't left with much enthusiasm, especially after seeing so many local boats coming in Saturday with 0.

I went out. Very windy, my boy enjoyed it.

There was nothing on in Gosford that I was aware of

but it was a nice day out int he water. Tascott ramp was very popular

Here in port macquarie they had displays at west port park with lots of give aways including complete Rod and Reel sets to the kids. Casting competitions, touch tanks, and talks by the local estuary charters guide. A great day BUT poorly advertised by the local media which was a shame ! Howard.
