jenno64
Hit the Georges this afternoon for a couple of hours on the run out tide. Started shallow just off my launch ramp and picked up a healthy flatty of 58cm on a hard body. As I slipped the fish into my ice slurry she spiked me and my knuckle swelled up instantly! Headed over to a deeper drain on the other side of the river and picked up a couple more flatties and lost a very good fish to a poor knot. With a half hour of time left I hit a shallow bank and was hit by a freight train on a VX 40, I thought it may have given me some PB joy but I was still pleased with a plump big girl of 75cm. I gave her a tow with the lip grips and she bolted off to the bottom. Karma then brought me two more fish on the way back to the ramp. Lost two VX40s to crappy knots but had a great arvo.
