Krispy ! Posted February 1, 2017 Share Posted February 1, 2017 (edited) Hey raiders long while between posts but I've been busy either fishing working or studying so no time to post anything. Kings have been very consistent over the past 2-3 weeks in the harbour with a lot of rats but some very serious fish in between them. Ive lost count exactly how many but ive caught around 30 with most of them being between 55-65cm but a few in the 70s thrown in and seen some cruising past that would've been well over 1m. The highlight/ lowlight was pulling the hooks on one that was around 1m right on the surface which left me with a sick feeling in my stomach, after a tough fight on pretty light gear considering its size (14lb leader) I got it up eventually and it was seconds away from a net shot when the hooks pulled and it swam off slowly just to rub it in even more.
