Gday fellas plan is to head to the Terrigal fad first light tomorrow morning will more then likely utilise the spot look on the minn Kota to hold us in a decent position. Just wondering if ppl prefer to brindle their live slimeys or the easier way of pinning them through the shoulder. I've looked up a few techniques with rubber bands etc just wondering which technique would be most effective

Just drift past it like everyone else- sitting on top of the FAD prevents anyone else setting up a decent drift. With dollies no need to bridle , cause I am usually catching a feed I just use a 6/0 suicide on 40-60lb leader- thinner gauge hooks up pretty well. They can get really competitive when you chuck a livie at them

Agree with Paddy, drift past if others are in the area.  Depends on the type of hook you plan on using. I find circle/recurve hooks work  better when bridled, j hooks work well pinned into livie or on a rubber band for a more immediate strike.
