Just a question, does anyone know why carp are so highly prized in Europe??

Yep, they're the only fish that exist in numbers...largely because they can survive where other species struggle. If not for Carp, fishing in many parts of Britain and Europe would be very light on. BN

yea, they had a remote control boat to deploy burley, these super long rods, bite alarms, all just to catch carp. But they sure caught some big fish. Just been googling and they actually farm carp to eat them. They must pretty hard  up for a feed of fish to farm carp.
