josamill
challenge to Fishraider sleuths. Friend of mine caught this fish in the Whitsundays last week. Terrible photo quality I know, but he is curious to know what it may be. Any ideas anyone?

Toilor
Classic Aussie fish of a thousand names, aka the Blackall. Go hard in shallow water and despite some opinion to the contrary actually really good to eat imo.
LuckyFil
I've caught a fish several times up at Weipa that looks very similar to this one - they call it a "blue bastard" up there and they pull like a freight train in shallow water! Does anyone know if its the same species? Fil
