bojulabah
A beautiful day with good mates, perfect weather, low swell and good drift and water temp (21degrees, BUT disappointing result over trips to Long Reef in past week. Lots of trevally (40cm) but 3rat kings amongst 2 boats and 5 mates x 4 hours = 20 hours for 3 Kinies?? Got a nice Little tailor on fly though. Smasher
I trolled around Longreef yesterday and picked up two 50cm Amberjacks and lost something else all within the first 10 mins. Then nothing for the next half an hour and all the boats buggered off so we left. Did you see the big pods of dolphins moving around and leaping right out of water? Ive never seen anything like it in Sydney. when we got back to tunks park there were three guys cleaning about 10 big fat kings and a couple of reds on the table. They said they went off Bondi & Coogee. Edited November 26, 2017 by Smasher
Scratchie
Lots of rats around atm! It’s a shame when everything aligns and the day doesn’t turn out as planned. But at least you got out! Cheers scratchie!!!

Fish have been busting up everywhere in the harbour lately. Rose Bay area has had a patch of warmer water and they seem to be swarming closer to the flats. lots of fun on small SP's and stickbaits
