Fishing at Wyangala dam

Hi guys just thought I'd put this up even tho me and the boy didn't get anything.... Was an awesome looking day but we didn't get there till 9 am I think next time we'll get there around 4 pm and fish the arvo I think it was just to sunny not sure new to freshwater fish but I'm guessing early morning and late arvo and it's a huge place and our first time there .... Umm I must say but I did get a hit but that's it and only felt small.... I am a bit disappointed I tried my leccy for the first time today it's a watersnake but when I put it down the thing wouldn't lock in and when I powered it it would just bounce up have to take it apart and have a look the things brand new not happy hey, least we'd have more of a chance at catching something just couldn't sneak around.... But persistence persistence hey well get there hopefully... I think next time we'll head down batemans Bay chase a couple of flathead or something

One upside was we found a awesome deep diving proper cod lure haha can't wait to use it haha
