blaxland Posted January 4, 2018 Share Posted January 4, 2018 Hi Raiders, as the forecast looks good for tomorrow 5/1/18 I want to try a drift for flathead off manly surfbeach, Im in a 4,29 runabout and have limited inshore experience can anybody tell me how far out the grounds are or what I should look for on the sounder? GoingFishing Posted January 8, 2018 Share Posted January 8, 2018 Makos and other sharks frequent the reefs off manly, have tangled with them often...(and always came out the loser) i think this time of year you will find the flatties in deeper water- 50m ++ Try that spot again in march/April when they come inshore to breed..... they are prolofic Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
