bojulabah
Went to the Fad on Friday, all the big Mahi Mahi seem to have gone elsewhere, but there we heaps and heaps of these little dollies. Also heaps of these striped black fish - think they are trevally, very slimy- all went back. Any clues on the species, I’ve never caught them before? saltrix
They look like Warehou (583 Sea Fishes of Southern Australia), also referred to as snotty, which agrees with your slimy description. Rated 3 our of 4 for eating quality
