Keenasfisho
Gday fisho's, Just after some advice on reefs near Sydney. Me and my mates are generally land based but after a recent boat purchase (not mine) we have been fishing off the boat quite a lot the last few months and are ready to step it up a bit and head to some reefs. Where can people recommend that's not too far to get too ? We mainly only bait/live bait fish, and would like to target kingies, snapper, jew, tailor etc. Any tips on locations, GPS coordinates, species, and just general tips would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
PaddyT
How big is your boat? How much have you driven a boat at sea?
pekingduck
Out of Sydney harbour, anywhere north of the heads is broken reef. Good close place to start would be in close around North head. A few specific spots to try 33 47.661S 151 18.399E A bit further NE try 33 47.264S 151 19.362E If you stay along that line and head north, its all broken reef all the way up to Long Reef. good luck
