Rebel
Hi, Welcome aboard. There about the same. The Yamaha is a better motor in my opinion. I probably get bashed up for saying that. I would keep looking you should be able to find a motor with less hours around the same price. Cheers.

Berleyguts
Isn’t the Escape a runabout and the Coastrunner a bowrider? Guess it comes down to how you intend to use it.
cougar66
hey berleyguts.intended use is FISHIN and take the grandkids out for a spin and tubing.from my little knowledge the bowrider has wasted seating up front which doesnt suit me.the coast runner only appears to have anchor well up front.same as escape.boat layout appears very similar between the two.PLEEEZ let me know if ive got it wrong and THANX for your input.much appreciated
Berleyguts
No, I could be wrong. I’d have to see an overhead photo of them but the images I’ve seen online suggest to me that the Coastrunner’s windscreen is further back, like a bowrider. Me? I’d pick a centre console any day! 😂
cougar66
yeh did think about centre BERLEYGUTS but figured escape/coastrunner be beta allrounder
Busy-livin
The coast runner is a runabout set up. Bow rider is a freedom sport in that age bracket. From what I have seen on the water they look much for muchness. Similar size and runabout style giving more deck room. Both would be a good estury/ bay fishing boat.
