455 escape/455 coast runner

just joined people.always had crap boats..time 4 change.mates got a 455 millenium hull escape 2002 60hp 4 stroke yammy which woud suit me.i have a 455 coast runner with 60hp 4 stroke merc 2003 190 hrs in my sights.$13500.what do you guys think and what are the differences in layout of these two boats.THANX............................................................................................................................just read my post.BIT confusing.my mate is not selling his escape so im wondering if a coast runner is much the same and what differences between them.any info would be gr8..................................................................................was this a DUMB QUESTION

Hi,

Welcome aboard. There about the same. The Yamaha is a better motor in my opinion. I probably get bashed up for saying that. I would keep looking you should be able to find a motor with less hours around the same price.

thanx for rely mate.been lookin for a while.some still askin up to 15k with 2 strokes.good looking boats but figure if im gonna spend that kind of money best to go 4 stroke.half the life of this merc was fresh water trolling,lowrance 5xhdi sounder,garmin,vhf full storm covers.just gota weigh it all up.hope the merc owners havnt court up with you yet.thanx again

hey berleyguts.intended use is FISHIN and take the grandkids out for a spin and tubing.from my little knowledge the bowrider has wasted seating up front which doesnt suit me.the coast runner only appears to have anchor well up front.same as escape.boat layout appears very similar between the two.PLEEEZ let me know if ive got it wrong and THANX for your input.much appreciated

The coast runner is a runabout set up. Bow rider is a freedom sport in that age bracket.

From what I have seen on the water they look much for muchness. Similar size and runabout style giving more deck room. Both would be a good estury/ bay fishing boat.
