New Signing Posted May 22, 2020 Posted May 22, 2020 Given my experience with a fisheries officer that couldn't tell the difference between a mako and a white shark i reckon ill give keeping spikeys a miss and not risk it

If one spike on the side of the head is much longer than the second spike, more than likely a Spiky Flathead. The tail is a very good way to I.D. them also (but you need to know which is which, as they differ on different flattie species) 1
