Yowie Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 Headed out his arvo with my mate, out of Bate Bay. Found the flatties out a bit of distance from shore. Closer in, 100 to 120 feet produced plenty of spikies. Biggest flattie at 43cm. Tried a reef drift in about 200 feet of water, but the drift was too fast to hold bottom and a waste of time. Headed to a shallow reef for the tailor, biggest at 45cm, but not many about. Plenty of reddies but none legal, and one nice squid. Not too many boats out today, probably be plenty on the weekend. 6
