Yowie Posted April 30, 2021 Share Posted April 30, 2021 Headed out his arvo with my mate, out of Bate Bay. Found the flatties out a bit of distance from shore. Closer in, 100 to 120 feet produced plenty of spikies. Biggest flattie at 43cm. Tried a reef drift in about 200 feet of water, but the drift was too fast to hold bottom and a waste of time. Headed to a shallow reef for the tailor, biggest at 45cm, but not many about. Plenty of reddies but none legal, and one nice squid.
