philfish61
Went to Windang to catch lunch only to find out pro's been there and cleaned up, no lunch today. 1
noelm
Didn't see or hear of any pros on Windang beach.
Green Hornet
Whether the pros have been or not, reports coming in are saying the Illawarra beaches aren't fishing well lately. Further south has been quiet as well and bait fishos are saying nothing but sand crabs. Edited July 27, 2021 by Green Hornet
noelm
I had a fish on Warilla beach for one tiny Tailor, so it is pretty slow at the moment.

Green Hornet
The latest reports now are even the crabs have gone. @noelmThe ones we get down here are about 100mm or more across the shell. They frighten the crap out of you when they stick their claws out of the sand when beachworming haha. Some guys eat them and reckon they taste better than blue swimmers. noelm
That's the ones with two red spots on them, they get to an OK size, but those little cranky ones are small, but good at biting, stealing bait and scaring the crap out of you when you think it's a worm..... noelm
Yep, beaches are dead at the moment, that's for sure, there's a few Bream around the rocks, but that's about it.

Sure are, I’m going to give the beach a rest and chase some bream in the lake.
noelm
Haven't been in the lake for a while, just around the rocks, but I do know some really big Whiting have come out of the lake in the last week or so.
SWFisho
Most of the fish should push around to the inside the mouth ready to spawn the fish will be inside the lake more then likely where all the bait will be taking cover
