He had an eye for cool stuff, having been a model and set builder in his time. It's of a mounted Groper at the Australian museum. Quite marvelous how huge that thing is. I was incredibly fortunate as a 16 year old to do work experience in the marine biology department at the museum when I was young. Unfortunately I didn't get to encounter that beast, but I was asked to do some 'tidying' at the fish collections - some amazing specimens there and I'm sure that they just wanted to give me the chance to marvel at the various fish there.
