Anyone seen the weather forecast?

We've had steady rain all day and not much wind at all in the Shoalhaven. Nothing like they predicted.

Going by the radar, we're on the south end of it all, so I'd say we'll get it tonight or tomorrow.

I just hope the worst of it has gone from here now, it's kind if just crap now, much lower rain and wind has eased, here is a picture my wife took out the window if the car on the new Albion Park Freeway, that's part of the old road over there!

Parramatta Ferry Wharf was awash at lunchtime .Lots of water going over with the railing down when you cross the weir. Though you couldn't do that today.

I hope the forecast is wrong, but, we are supposed to cop the worst of it this morning around 10AM, only a few hours away, let's just pray that maybe "they" get it wrong.

Very heavy rain just set in, swell is getting big, high tide still a couple of hours away but water level is way above high tide "flood" mark, evacuation alert for low lying Lake Illawarra area, looks like this morning might be the "big one"! I am pretty well OK (except a leak in a bedroom) but a few in my street downhill from me might need assistance, going to pick up some sandbags in my Ute and help a few friends "prepare" as best they can.

edit....as the picture shows, the surf is already covering the beach (Warilla) and it's still hours away from high tide.
