Rebel
Woke up early. Headed for some beach fishing, before the holiday people arrived. Arrived around 6am. Weather was great. Brought two 12ft rods. First was a nice bream. Then landed a nice whiting. Caught another bream. Another two whiting. By this tme people were arriving & trying to move in. I must change my aftershave. No I think it was the burley bucket I had with me. Time to move on. No Pubs open so I couldn't have breakfast. The Neighbours will be happy with the fish. Gear. My trusty Aurora rod for whiting. 12lb mono, size 6 baitholder hook with a small sinker. New 12ft Abu Garcia Veritas 4 3pce rod for bream 12lb mono size 4 sucide hook with a small sinker. Top rod casts a country mile. Cheers. Edited September 28, 2022 by Rebel 10

Green Hornet
Good going Rebel, your neighbors must be loving you. No blackfish? Have you run out of peas? 😁
bessell1955
Do they still catch Jewies from here?
Little_Flatty
Nice catch Rebel. Shame about the lack of a pub breakfast!
Yowie
A few fish off the beach was worth it. Next time the free loaders move in, start yelling, screaming, wave the rods about in an angry manner, say you need some shark burley.....
Larkin
Nice work Rebel! I hear those veritas rods are quite good! School holidays, and good weather - definitely brings out the crowds!
Rebel
@Larkin The Veritas range of rods, the V3 & V4 are brilliant. I have a V3 & V4. I think @Little_Flatty has one as well. Cheers.
Rebel
@bessell1955 I haven't heard of any one lately. A young guy caught a Jewie at Budgewoi Bch a couple weeks ago. I was told it took him over an hour to land it. Don't know how big it was. Cheers.

Koalaboi
Hi Rebel, I find the only time to get a relatively uncrowded fish at The Entrance during holiday periods/weekends is a dawn patrol. Holiday makers tend to enjoy a sleep in, and after a hard slog working, good on 'em I say! Their sleep in rejuvenates their spirit and gives me a bit of me time alone fishing.
