Then the best gear i could be using was a bamboo pole with mono attached and a pc of foam as a float. We caught heaps then. Those were indeed fun times and probably the only time i could relate with my dad. Never looked back since then. So all up just 23 yrs. stevefish Posted January 17, 2006 Share Posted January 17, 2006 Started about 5 or 6 cos my folks thought i couldnt sit still long enough in my grandfathers boat at a younger age. He soon got a 16hp suzuki for his 12 footer, people said it would be overpowered. Remember before fishfinders? Fished fairly casually till about 6 years ago when i went nuts on lbg, then boats and a few kimberly and nt barra missions thrown in aswell. What im trying to say is 25 years. Steve.
