lastworm
So it looks like April weather has turned to poo, and the bass gear will be hung up for the season. It's a shame, for a while there it was looking like Summer was going to extend way into the Autumn months. What are everyone's plans?
XD351
Maybe some impoundment work , no closed season in them and a good opportunity to go camping !

lastworm
I'm yet to fish the impoundments, but it is on my list to do!
dirvin21
Some of my biggest bass have been during winter in terrible weather There is no official "closed" season for bass just between may - august all bass and estuary perch must be released unharmed

In the dams you can keep them if you want - bass and Redfin are good eating .

Understand I don't knowingly target spawning bass in brackish water but ooccasionally they are by catch I have eaten bass in the past but now I appreciate them to much as sportfish to eat I definitely agree on redfin though great on the frypan
