Heading there this Saturday, does anybody have any hints/general knowledge please?

Take a Nipper pump, use them along drop offs into deeper water, or up on the sand flats at high tide. Fish light line and small or no sinker, fish the edges of weed banks.

Also, take a beach rod and pillies or a 3-6kg spin rod and some metal lures. There’s been some really nice size salmon off the beach over the last couple of weeks.

Middle to southern end seems to be the best producer.

If you have a boat or a Yak google "the steps". I have had some good catches on the drift.

Otherwise I have caught good fish towards the Western end using unweighted baits over the reefs.
